Frequently asked
Common questions about Everia, hardware, and how it works.
What hardware do I need to start tracking?
Everia works with compatible Teltonika LTE tracking devices. The FMC003 plugs into your vehicle's OBD-II port — no wiring needed. The FTC880 connects directly to the battery for a permanent, concealed installation.
Where is my data stored?
All vehicle data is hosted in Australian data centres. Position records, journey history and account information remain in Australia and under your control.
Can I share my vehicle's location with someone?
Yes. You can grant read-only, time-limited access to selected people. Shared views can be revoked at any time. There are no public links.
Is the hardware approved for use in Australia?
Specific Teltonika device variants hold RCM approval for Australia and New Zealand: the FTC880-QJAB0 and FMC150-QJIB0. Approval is specific to the device model and order code.
How long is journey history retained?
Retention depends on your plan. Higher-tier plans retain longer history. All plans include full journey records for the retention period.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Position logs, trip summaries and maintenance records can be exported as CSV at any time. API access for programmatic retrieval is available on selected plans.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. All plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Hardware is purchased separately and remains yours.
What happens if my vehicle is stolen?
Everia's recovery tools let you flag a vehicle, follow its trail in real time, and grant selected support personnel an expiring read-only view of the vehicle's position. You control who sees what and for how long.
